Founder · Calculator Developer · Content Editor · MyKetoCalcs
I build keto calculators and publish structured educational content about ketosis, macronutrients, and low-carb nutrition — to make the topic more navigable, useful, and honest.
Why I Built MyKetoCalcs
The keto space is full of contradictory information, overhyped claims, and tools that feel like afterthoughts. When I started exploring ketogenic nutrition myself, I found it surprisingly hard to get clear, structured answers to practical questions: What macros should I actually be eating? How does net carbs work? What does ketosis mean at a physiological level?
I come from a digital product and web development background — not clinical nutrition. So rather than pretend to be an authority I’m not, I built something I actually knew how to make well: a structured, calculator-first website that treats the reader as an intelligent adult.
MyKetoCalcs exists to make keto information more structured, easier to navigate, and more practically useful — while being transparent about what the site is and what it isn’t.
Structure Over Noise
Keto content online often lacks structure. I wanted calculators with real formulas (Mifflin-St. Jeor, Katch-McArdle) and guides that actually explain why, not just what.
Practical Tools First
The site is built around interactive calculators and practical guides that help readers get concrete answers — not just read about keto in the abstract.
Honest Positioning
I’m not a dietitian or physician. The site is explicitly educational. That boundary matters — and it’s built into every page, including this one.
Better Keto Literacy
Understanding the science behind ketosis helps readers make more informed decisions. This site aims to raise the quality of that understanding, not exploit confusion.
What I Actually Do on This Site
As the sole founder, I handle multiple functions. Here’s how the site is actually run — with full transparency about tools and process.
Calculator Development
I design, build, and maintain the interactive keto calculators — including macro calculators using Mifflin-St. Jeor and Katch-McArdle formulas, net carbs tools, and ketosis estimators.
Content Planning & Topic Architecture
I plan which topics to cover, in what depth, and in what order. The goal is a structured, coherent knowledge base — not random blog posts.
Article Editing & Review
Every article is reviewed before publication. I check for factual accuracy, clarity of explanations, and alignment with the site’s editorial standards.
AI-Assisted Drafting (Transparent)
AI tools may assist with initial drafting and structural organization of content. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and refined before publication — I don’t publish raw AI output.
Site Architecture & UX
I design and maintain the site’s structure, page templates, navigation, and user experience — with a focus on clarity and practical usability.
Ongoing Improvement
Articles are updated when better sources, clearer explanations, or improved data become available. This isn’t a publish-and-forget site.
What MyKetoCalcs Covers
The site focuses on a defined set of topics within keto nutrition — structured, practical, and educational.
Editorial Process & Standards
The goal of every article on MyKetoCalcs is clarity, accuracy, and practical usefulness. Content is never published for the sake of volume or traffic alone.
Sources used include peer-reviewed research literature, reputable institutional resources, and established references in nutritional biochemistry. Where scientific consensus is evolving or contested, this is noted directly in the content.
This site does not make sensational health claims, does not promote miracle outcomes, and does not overstate what the current evidence supports.
- Content is educational and informational in nature

Ketogenic nutrition can have significant physiological effects.
